"Performance through innovation" is one of Jaguars slogans, and today more than ever powerful sports cars must find new responsible ways to offer both high performance and ecological sustainability. Designed by Bertone’s chief of design, American Michael Robinson, the 2011 Jaguar Sport Cars Bertone Jaguar B99 Concept blends shapely surfacing with powerful proportions. “It is a typical Jaguar,” says Robinson. The classic cat-inspired rear haunch lends itself to Jaguar’s heritage, and the C-pillar is much more formal than that of the current Ian Callum- designed XJ and XF models. The B99 also sports a bit of concept car showmanship with its rear-hinged suicide doors and B-pillarless cabin.

Despite the shapely body concours, there is little else in the way of ornamentation save for the chrome window surrounds, front fender vent and Jaguar “leaper” on the hood. Bertone characterizes this as a “minimalist luxury sports sedan.” It is a nice blend of tradition and modernity.

The stylish cabin would help the 2011 Jaguar Sport Cars Bertone Jaguar B99 Concept command luxury prices, while at the same time allowing its clientele to feel socially responsible as a result of the unique powertrain.

Sedan Jaguar XJ

When you're sitting behind the wheel of a new Jaguar XJ, it would appear that no rainy day could affect your mood. Well, except for those 6,475 U.S.-spec units manufactured between July 28, 2009 and November 3, 2010, on which the front wiper arms weren't sufficiently torqued during assembly. Consequently, Jaguar has issued a recall for the affected cars, according to a NHTSA press release.

Jaguar xf

Jaguar has given its mid-size XF saloon a face-lift and a brand new engine to bring it up to speed with the competition as well as the rest of the Jag range. Introduced in 2008, the XF was the first serious step by Jaguar toward shedding its traditionalist image and becoming truly competitive in its segment.History has shown that, given these two cars’ respective target demographics, the smaller, cheaper, sportier XF should really be more contemporary looking than the loping (but ultimately quite sporty) limousine that is the XJ. The front end now benefits from the sleeker

headlamps and upright grille that made their conceptual debut on the C-XF in 2007, but disappointingly only made production on 2010’s XJ. This is allegedly because then-owners Ford had rather lopsidedly already completed the production XF’s design before creating the striking CX-F concept to wow customers. This too is an expression of the brand’s independence as, under Ford ownership, horizontal vents were the strict reserve of Jaguar’s posher stable-mate, Aston Martin. The XF’s range was thus far limited to just three engines – a petrol V6, a diesel V6 (in two states of tune) and the petrol V8, either naturally aspirated or supercharged. With eco-consciousness becoming a major concern in the executive and luxury segments, Jaguar has answered the call with the XF’s first four-cylinder engine.
All models get an engine stop-start feature and have their six-speed automatic replaced with a far more advanced eight-speed unit as standard.

Jaguar xj

Sleek, sporting and sophisticated, the all-new Jaguar XJ brings a daring new spirit to automotive luxury. It offers a seductive mix of striking design, breathtaking performance and engineering without compromise.

The new Jaguar XJ is the epitome of fluid, contemporary automotive style. The elongated teardrop shape of the side windows establishes the car's silhouette and lies at the heart of its flowing design. And the new Jaguar XJ doesn't just look streamlined: it shares a drag coefficient of 0.29 with the Jaguar XF saloon, making them the most aerodynamic Jaguars ever.
Even if Jaguar has just unveiled a facelift for the old XJ, this is not the only news coming to us. In 2009 the company will unveil a totally redesigned model, with design cues taken from the latest C-XF Concept and from the upcoming XF sedan. Even if the new generation XJ will be built on the current aluminum platform, everything on the exterior will be changed.

More recently the 2010 Jaguar XJ was unveiled by late night funny man Jay Leno and the beautiful super model Claudia Schiffer. The all-new XJ is the first Jaguar model to be built using Jaguar’s aerospace-inspired aluminum body technology. The vehicle will be available with a choice of new ultra-efficient Gen III classification petrol and diesel engines consisting of a 3.0 Liter diesel V6, a 5.0 Liter naturally aspirated V8 as well as the almighty 5.0 Liter supercharged 8 cylinder power plant.
