Porsche Cayenne S Concept

Porsche Cayenne S Concept
The entry level Porsche Cayenne S is more like the Cayenne Turbo that the $ 33,000 price difference would suggest. 4.5-liter V-8 puts 340 hp (110 less than the Turbo), enough to push the S 0-60 mph in 7.2 seconds. The Turbo air suspension with active control is missing, but found that the conventional suspension makes the Cayenne S more alert and maneuverable.

In general, the Cayenne is actually defined by its computerized electronics (as all modern vehicles will be soon), and the S model has all the good things. The system all-wheel-drive sends 62 percent of engine torque to the rear wheels and 38 percent for the front wheels and then vary the power distribution to each wheel according to road surface and control inputs . The driving dynamics are brilliant, and that cut across all road surfaces and in all times.

But an SUV is also on the experience of using it, and everything to do with utility is clearly flawed in the Cayenne. It is as if the German engineers had seen the sport-utes only in television commercials dirt-bashing, but I had never driven one of the supermarket.
First, the Cayenne is too high for easy entry and exit, and the doors swing closed too easily to carry passengers. The rear door opens too high to be pulled closed without some NBA style jumping. The seats are too firm, the options too noisy. The instrument binnacle looks confusing and the navigation system resembles a wristwatch with functions too bad. The entertainment system is outdated. Finally, the Cayenne style runs the gamut of emotional insipid unpleasant.
